Liksom tidigare \u00e5r beror det p\u00e5 att m\u00e5nga \u00e4ldre bilar utan avgas-rening samlas f\u00f6rsta helgen i augusti. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>P\u00e5 trottoaren vid Sveav\u00e4gen 88 uppm\u00e4ttes 8 timmars-medelv\u00e4rden av CO som var h\u00f6gre \u00e4n 10 mikrogram per kubikmeter luft fr\u00e5n klockan 21 p\u00e5 kv\u00e4llen l\u00f6rdag 3 augusti till klockan 04 p\u00e5 morgonen s\u00f6ndag 4 augusti. Detta innebar att den lagstadgade milj\u00f6kvalitetsnormen och EU-gr\u00e4nsv\u00e4rdet till skydd f\u00f6r m\u00e4nniskors h\u00e4lsa \u00f6verskreds under 7 timmar. Det h\u00f6gsta v\u00e4rdet uppm\u00e4ttes till 13,3 mikrogram per kubikmeter. Enligt g\u00e4llande lagstiftning antogs ett \u00e5tg\u00e4rdsprogram \u00e5r 2020 f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rhindra \u00f6verskridanden av CO under det \u00e5rliga motorevenemanget. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kolmonoxid \u00e4r en gas som bildas vid ofullst\u00e4ndig f\u00f6rbr\u00e4nning av kolbaserade br\u00e4nslen. H\u00f6ga halter av kolmonoxid i luften kan f\u00f6rs\u00e4mra m\u00e4nniskors syreupptagning. Det p\u00e5verkar framf\u00f6rallt personer med nedsatt lungfunktion eller hj\u00e4rtsjukdom.
